The Buzz about Vibrators

A vibrator is a sex toy that is used on certain parts of the body for sexual stimulation. Vibrators come in many forms and sizes, with various vibration patterns that can stimulate the clitoris or the G-spot in vulva owners. Some vibrators are even designed to be water resistant and may be used in baths and swimming pools. The electric vibrator was developed in the second half of the 19th century to relieve pain rather than to stimulate sexual desire. Vibrators for vulva owners became more prevalent in popular culture during the 1980s and 1990s, after the release of shows such as Sex and the City. While the vibrator has revolutionized sexual pleasure for vulva owners, finding a compatible vibrator can be an overwhelming task to navigate. Here are some of the best vibrators in 2022:

Sona 2 Cruise Vibrator from Lelo

This vibrator is designed for vulva owners to experience a clitoral stimulation. The suction function creates sexual stimulation and has 12 different suction settings. The vibrator is also waterproof, and uses gentle sonic waves. I'd definitely recommend this vibrator for vulva owners that are starting to explore the sex toy market.

Eve's Rechargeable Thrusting Rabbit from Adam & Eve

This vibrator is designed for both clitoral and G-spot stimulation simultaneously. What makes it extra fun is the thrusting feature of the shaft end of the vibrator. It expands and contracts as well as wiggles from side to side. The thrusting shaft and two vibrating motors creates sexual pleasure in vulva owners. There are 10 different modes or vibration patterns and the toy is also waterproof. It's the ideal balance of incredible stimulation. The company does advise that the vibrator should only be used with water based lubricant.

Hyphy from Lovense

This is a dual edged vibrator much like the rabbit vibrator above. However, what makes it different are the extensions that come with the toy. Hyphy includes 3 silicone attachments that stimulate in unique ways using different sensations. It can be used to even caress the nipples and create sensations on other parts of the body. This is very useful when engaging in foreplay. The toy can also be controlled with Bluetooth through the Lovense app and is thus ideal for long distance sexual play. The toy is also waterproof.
As mentioned above, navigating the world of vibrators can be overwhelming and it helps to talk to a sex therapist about any questions that you have regarding using a vibrator. I also encourage you to talk about your sexual needs as vibrators can be a great addition to partnered sex. It is crucial to normalise the use of vibrators in society as they contribute to overall sexual health.
