Who we are?
Wellness Talk is a blog authored by psychotherapists in New York City who are dedicated to helping their clients find their personal wellness and positive well-being. We encourage clients to seek out positive resources in their lives and then to fill in the missing blanks. You may have a solid social support network but despite that you still find yourself struggling in some areas of your life such as with your relationships or gender identity. We are here to support you through your journey of wellness. Our psychotherapy bloggers share the same value that each person is resilient and has the capacity for wellness and sometimes all that is needed is someone to help you unveil your inner resilient self.
The methodology most commonly used by our therapists is rooted in the eclectic paradigm with a strong emphasis on psychodynamic, interpersonal, and evidence based behavioral practices. We believe that therapy is a collaborative effort equally shouldered between the therapist and the client. We believe in the edict of always being action oriented with a steady focus on the future. Our therapists are sex positive, poly and kink friendly, and they provide gender non-conforming and trans affirmative therapy.
Services provided by our PsychBloggers:
